John had been partying for the three consecutive days eating all possible things and now he was having an abdominal discomfort and burning pain in the chest and lower throat. These all are symptoms of indigestion, which is caused by hot and spicy food and acid flowing back from the stomach. A hiatus hernia, in which part of the stomach passes into the chest cavity through the hole for the oesophagus is responsible, causing belching, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
The cure for this is to have small meals every 2 to 3 hours to reduce the stomach acid and soothe painful inflammation. Aloe vera juice taken orally before all the main meals and before bedtime helps combat peptic ulceration. Follow recipes containing herbs like ginger, bay leaves, thyme, mint, or savory.
Avoid drinking strong tea, coffee, and smoking. Lose excess weight to help combat reflux and raise the head of the bed to reduce night time reflux.
Besides these remedies consult the doctor in case of extremities and take regular medication to provide the body with the required vitamins, proteins and B complex.
